Working at Beau Rivage Palace allowed me to understand even more the hospitality industry, it has the highest standards of service quality so for me was such a privilege to work in this Hotel
While I was working there, I experienced what is working absolutely under pressure, being able to work as a team in order to exceed guest's expectations which is the main goal of any 5-star hotel.
The workplace culture is one of the richest I have ever been able to work for, always promoting innovation but at the same time never losing the traditions, what basically is the soul of this hotel.
Since my first day I was always trained under the following basis: we are all the same, no matter in what position you are, we are all treated as equals, we must respect other's cultures and beliefs, and always keeping in mind that good communication is the key to success.
From my point of view, the hardest part of my job was being able to accept that making mistakes is a common thing among all people.
The most enjoyable part of my job was the daily interaction with people from all over the world, on average I was talking to people from 5 different countries per day. I found this as one of the most enriching thing, it was the best way to learn from other cultures and share mine as well.
